F reshman Represenative Pat Mazorol from SD41B, is getting off to a fast start for the 2012 Legislative Session. He has Chief Authored 3 bills and is a co-author on a handful more. Here are the topics:
- Fairness for Responsible Drivers Act established, remedies of uninsured motorists limited, and amount of criminal fines increased.
- Interest on verdicts, awards, and judgments regulated.
- Attorney fee relation to damages awarded factor provided.
Mazorol has signed on a co-author to a bill chief authored by his SD counterpart Rep. Keith Downey in SD41A that proposes to reduce occupational regulations to promote job growth.
