Local Republican organizations like ours cannot be effective or even survive without the assistance of strong volunteers like you! Also, we'd like to take this opportunity to give a huge "THANKS!" to all of you who have volunteered this past year!
Most notably, awards were given to outstanding volunteers at the Senate District 41 Convention Saturday, February 26, 2011.
VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR
Eight individuals and one group were recognized as Volunteers of the Year for outstanding service in 2010. Among the many activities in which they participated, they made Get-Out-The-Vote calls for the primary and general elections, stuffed and dropped literature bags, did fundraising calls, served on a 2010 convention committee, worked on the Edina Independence Day parade and picnic, helped with the Full Committee Dinner Meetings, managed our website, ran our Election Night gathering, prepared our newsletter for mailing, and did Voter Identification work and data input. LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
This award has been given only twice previously by Senate District 41 Republicans. It is given to a volunteer who has given generously of his or her time over many years in a wide variety of ways. The 2010 Award Winner is:

CRYSTAL EAGLE AWARD
The Crystal Eagle is the highest award given by Senate District 41 Republicans. Winners have contributed to the Senate District in significant ways and have put forth extraordinary efforts on behalf of the Republican Party. Past recipients have included elected officials, former senate district officers, and volunteers. Winners are presented with a Crystal Eagle.
Typically only one person is honored each year. This year there are two winners both of whom have contributed vast amounts of time and talent to the State Party’s new data base, Phoenix, and to our massive efforts at Voter Identification. The 2010 Awards winners are:
